Green Road RTA station
at Shaker Boulevard

SAFE TRANSPORTATION. APPROPRIATE LOCATION.
Our schools need a modern transportation facility. But bus storage, maintenance, washing, and daily employee traffic belong on a site planned for intensive vehicle operations—not immediately beside homes.
Read our position →OUR POSITION
We support investment in the Lee Road corridor and a modern transportation facility for Shaker Schools.
The concern is location. The proposed Green Road facility would bring daily bus movements, employee traffic, maintenance bays, and a wash bay to a site surrounded in part by homes.
Our request is simple: publicly compare available commercial, industrial, and school-campus alternatives before making an irreversible commitment.
WHAT RESPONSIBLE PLANNING REQUIRES
Release the complete site list, evaluation criteria, scoring, costs, and reasons each alternative was rejected.
Complete traffic, environmental, noise, lighting, stormwater, safety, and residential-impact studies before approval.
Identify the proposed use classification, required residential separation, and every rezoning, variance, or amendment needed.
Prepare comparable layouts and lifecycle costs for credible commercial, industrial, and school-campus alternatives.
